By accessing or using the Chapter Operations platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

The Service is provided to facilitate chapter management for Divine 9 fraternity and sorority organizations, including membership management, dues collection, and financial reporting.

2. Description of Service

Chapter Operations provides a web-based platform that enables Greek letter organizations to:

• Manage member information and membership status
• Track and collect chapter and national dues
• Process online payments securely
• Generate reports on membership and financial data
• Communicate with chapter members

3. User Accounts

Access to the Service requires a user account created by a chapter administrator. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying your chapter administrator immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date

4. Payment Terms

When you make payments through the Service:

• All payments are processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Your use of payment services is subject to Stripe's terms of service.
• Payment amounts are determined by your chapter and may include chapter dues, national dues, or other fees as established by your organization.
• You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the amounts due.
• All payments are made in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified.

5. Refunds

Refund policies are determined by individual chapters. Please refer to our Refund Policy for detailed information about requesting refunds and the conditions under which refunds may be granted.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
• Collect or harvest user information without consent
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the Service in any way that could damage our reputation

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Chapter Operations and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHAPTER OPERATIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chapter Operations and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
